I’d also like to see a granular nav if possible. I’m halfway through building a site and spent quite a bit of time messing around with this one to get it how I wanted.

I’ve since realised I need the pagination, and found a JQuery slider that has it, but I can’t integrate it in the same way.

The way this one works lends itself well to customisation (as you stated it was meant to do) but the others I’ve tried don’t.

It’d really be great to not have to rip it all apart but I guess I’ll have to if you don’t have time to do this.

Whatever happens, thanks for the tutorial.

I’d like to add to the request to add some sort of navigation controls for all the images in the slider, not just the next/prev buttons. I opened up a page on stackoverflow – http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8831131/modify-jquery-slider-for-greater-control-add-clickable-preview-thumbnails-that in the hopes that we can get this resolved. If anyone has found any solutions, please let us know. Likewise, if I find out anything, I’ll post it here.

I also wanted to simply add my voice to those who are asking for the ability to create a panel of navigation links similar to the “progress bars” seen on other sliders. The ability to click on one and skip to specific panels would be KEY!

Another great thing would be to integrate a “never ending” loop so you don’t have to click back through to the get to beginning in an update.

Either way – thanks for a great plugin. I found it perfectly easy to use.. Unfortunately I will not be able to keep it as I will need the navigation feature in order to complete my interface for my website.
